The CIVITAS Forum 2024, held this year from October 1-3 in Parma, is a dynamic, multi-day conference is the flagship event of the CIVITAS Initiative. In existence since 2003, the CIVITAS Forum provides the ideal opportunity to hear from the cities, people, and projects that are driving innovation in smart, inclusive, and sustainable mobility, as well as to exchange and connect with urban mobility changemakers from across Europe. City representatives, policymakers, practitioners, planners, academics, and mobility enthusiasts are invited to Save the Date for this exciting event on the sustainable urban mobility calendar. The key topics at this year’s event include clean vehicles, urban planning, public participation, and mobility co-creation, all aimed at shaping the future of transportation in cities across Europe.

As part of this event, Floridea Di Ciommo director of CambiaMO will present the AMIGOS project. The presentation will focus on key activities and stakeholder engagement strategies that are helping co-create mobility solutions centered around people. The AMIGOS project is a critical initiative that seeks to empower communities and influence urban mobility planning with a focus on inclusivity and sustainability.

Later, on Wednesday and Thursday, Martín Krekeler, Stephanie Kebler from the city of Hambourg, and Lucia Cristea from EIP will present the current progress and legacy of the AMIGOS project, showcasing how it continues to influence sustainable mobility strategies.
