We are pleased to announce that Johanna Zambrano Flores will represent our team at the Fourth Forum of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change, taking place from 19 to 20 May 2025 in Wrocław, Poland.
Organised by the European Commission and the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Forum will bring together local and regional authorities, researchers, policymakers, and civil society to share experiences and strategies for climate adaptation and resilience.
The programme includes:
- 19 May: Site visits around Wrocław and a pre-Forum workshop for the Community of Practice, providing a collaborative environment for members to network and discuss resilience-building strategies.
- 19 May Evening: An evening reception at Wrocław Town Hall, offering participants an opportunity to connect in an informal setting.
- 20 May: A full day of plenary sessions and thematic panels at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology Congress Centre. Topics include regional resilience to climate risks (such as floods and heatwaves), financial models and tools to fund adaptation efforts, and innovative solutions developed by Mission regions and projects. An interactive workshop session will also highlight success stories and achievements from across Europe, allowing for peer exchange and collaborative learning.Johanna will actively participate in discussions and networking activities, showcasing cambiaMO’s commitment to inclusive, participatory approaches to climate resilience and citizen engagement.
Participants will also receive the new Activity Report, highlighting the progress and impactful stories from the Mission over the past three years. CambiaMO has been a dedicated supporter of the Mission since its inception and is a partner in two Horizon Europe Mission Adaptation projects: CLIMAS and JUSTSAFE.
The Forum offers a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge, showcase innovative solutions, and strengthen cooperation across sectors and regions in the face of climate change.
