On the 17th and 18th of October, all partners from the SPINE | Smart Public transport Initiatives for climate-Neutral cities in Europe project will gather in Tallinn, Estonia to progress and discuss the project status.
Floridea Di Ciommo, as gender officer of the project, will facilitate an Awareness-raising exercise for equality, diversity, and inclusion within the scope of the project.
On the second day of the assembly, cambiaMO will join the other modeling partners of the SPINE project, as well as the representatives of the cities, in a Digital Impact Assessment workshop where they will explore the next steps to strive for the successful evolution of the project objectives.
cambiaMO is undertaking the task of developing a behavioral change model, with a specific focus on assessing the variables that affect the travel behaviors of people among the various modes of transportation available in the city. The main goal of this assessment is to identify the factors on which to focus for encouraging a shift towards public transport use, with an inclusive approach. We well know that most of the current users of public transport are women and deeply understanding their travel patterns will provide insights for attracting new users to this backbone mode of our cities.
