Back-to-back with the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities Conference 2023 held on 26 and 27 of June, on 28 June 2023 the AMIGOS project met other projects (e.g. Elaborator and Reallocate) from the Urban Public Space Design Thematic Cluster. Apart from introducing the EU Mission for Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities and the existing policies and strategies related to urban public space design and urban mobility. Each individual project, including AMIGOS, was presented and expectations from the cluster were shared. Besides, two workshops were organised to address synergies, monitoring and evaluation at the living labs, as well as collaboration in the communication, dissemination, and exploitation of the results from these initiatives.
AMIGOS is one of the projects that envisages cooperation with the Mission Platform (HORIZON-MISS-2021-CIT-02-03) within the CIVITAS initiative, as well as with the SUMP coordination platform ELTIS and sharing good practices and project results with the upcoming European Urban Initiative of Cohesion Policy, the Urban Agenda for the EU and other pertinent smart specialisation partnerships (e.g. the Safe and Sustainable Mobility Partnership, EIT Urban Mobility). The Conference of Parties on Climate Change organised by the UNFCCC, will be a yearly platform where AMIGOS will be presented in the mobility and energy side events and will find synergies with other EU and international projects developed in 196 world countries.
Upon invitation by CINEA (European Climate, Infrastructure, and Environment Executive Agency), we will contribute to common information and dissemination activities to increase the visibility and synergies between HE/H2020-supported actions.
