Building a more sustainable transportation system requires a shift in transportation policy toward the prioritization of modes other than driving. But how does this shift happen?

Susan Handy, professor at UC Davis, will focus on that necessary policy shift in her second seminar at cambiaMO.

Susan Handy is a Professor of Environmental Science and Policy and Director of the National Center for Sustainable Transportation at the University of California, Davis. Her research focuses on travel behavior and transportation planning. Recent projects examine bicycling as a mode of transportation, including bike-share and e-bikes, and other strategies for reducing automobile dependence. She is visiting Spain as Fulbright Fellow. Here is her full profile.
