Technical support for the gender approach of the PEEB

The General Traffic Department, commissioned by the Superior Council of Traffic, Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility, is preparing National Cycling Strategy Plan for the period 2019-2024. A strategy that aims promoting bicycle in all its sectors, and therefore involves a large number of actors such as public administrations, business sector and civil society.

This Strategy presents the common vision emerged through a collaborative process among various organizations such as the Spanish Cycling Table (MEB), the Cycling Cities Network (RCxB), the Federation of Cycling Associations (ConBici), different Ministries of State Administration, and representatives of Local Entities and Autonomous Communities with the aim of promoting cycling.

cambiaMO has participated in the collaborative process, being also responsible for the elaboration of the PEEB chapter on “Gender perspective for cycling”. We contributed as well to the development of other aspects of the PEEB such as the health, welfare and social dimension, and the business development related to the last mile logistic sector and biking.


